Ranger challenge

Each year the Pride of PA sends a squad of its best cadets to compete against the 42 other Army ROTC programs in 2nd Brigade.  The weekend long competition will test their physical fitness, determination, teamwork, and Army knowledge.  This event is held every October at Fort Dix, New Jersey; the home of the United States Army Cadet Command's 2nd Brigade.

In order to prepare for the competition, tryouts are held.  Those who are selected from tryouts attend Physical Training (PT) specifically designed by the team's Cadet captains, and Cadre adviser, to train for the rigors of the competition. Earlier mornings, more frequent training, and tougher workouts are expected of the Ranger Challenge team, especially in the Fall when they are preparing for the competition.
